Glenstone has successfully operated in the property investment sector for over 50 years and continues to expand its portfolio of investment property through the acquisition of investment assets and privately-owned property investment companies based in the UK.

The Challenge


As with many others it seems, we too had multiple spreadsheets in place to manage our portfolio. Creating Valuation Reports and Asset Plans was a constant headache and often needed significant tweaking and refactoring of the data to get the result we wanted.

Whilst spreadsheets worked to some extent, they were a huge bottleneck and we found ourselves with multiple version of the same spreadsheets which meant more time finding the most up-to-date version.

WebTerrier allows us to deliver critical information needed in an elegant, consumable form with ease. Its Asset Plan module is fully customisable with key Property information, Tenancy Schedules, Events Timelines, and more. These can be printed off or saved as a PDF for management to review, alongside customised Valuation Reports to keep them up-to-date on their investments.

Its integration with Quickbooks is especially helpful. Having multiple organisations with numerous tenants, it was difficult for the property team to review live arrears data. With WebTerrier, all payment and invoice statuses are automatically synced with the latest figures.

Document Repository

As WebTerrier has document storage built into numerous sections of the system, we are easily able to upload EPC certificates, Compliance Certificates, Memorandums, Lease Documents and so much more. It also comes with the added benefit of being able to set up notifications for many aspects of the system, so you can get notified when a specific document needs renewing or lease events require attention.

Valuations

Being able to store and report on historical valuation figures for our whole portfolio is a huge time saver. With the advanced searching and reporting, we can quickly collate a data set for a report or compare growth trends within the portfolio.

Simplicity

WebTerrier has drastically reduced the time needed to generate reports, find crucial data points, and find relevant documents. The system is simple, intuitive and well laid out, allowing everyone to complete their tasks with ease compared to before.
